What's Happening at LH
HELP NEEDED!!! PLEASE CONSIDER PROCTORING FOR THE End-of-Grade Tests for grades 3-5
It will take ~100 proctor volunteers (if everyone proctored one day) to help us complete our testing this year! You are extremely valuable to this process. We need volunteers to help during the following times (all times are approximate):
Wed, May 16th (Reading gr. 3-5) 8:20 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Thursday, May 17th (Math gr. 3-5) 8:20 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Friday, May 18th (Math gr. 3-5) 8:20 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, May 22nd (5th gr. Science) 8:20 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
*Remember, you must be “cleared” as a volunteer in the WCPSS system to proctor. If you have not registered this year, you may come to our office and sign up on the computer. You’ll need your Driver’s License # & Social Security #. Thanks in advance for your help!

Yearbooks are Here!
Available from 8 to 8:30 am daily in the MEDIA CENTER, beginning May 1st.
If you pre-ordered a yearbook, you or your child can sign for it and take it home.
If you would still like to purchase a yearbook, a limited number are available for $25. Please bring exact change or a check to LH PTA.
Lincoln Heights has been designated a STEM school for the 2012-2013 school year.

Kindergarten Summer Enrichment Program at LH
Offered, June 18th-22nd 2012 from 8:15a.m.-12:15p.m.daily. There is no cost for participation. Transportation is not provided.
Children must be 5 on or before August 31st 2012 and live in Wake County to participate.
Applications can be dropped off at school sites, mailed or faxed through 5/11/12.
