Environmental Connections

Environmental learning is woven into core subjects and grows knowledgeable stewards of the planet. Students tackle real-world challenges through hands-on E-Inquiry Lab courses and explore fields like ecology, geology, engineering, and wildlife in choice-based Expeditions courses. 

STEM

The WCPSS STEM magnet pathway schools provide student-centered, real-world learning where interdisciplinary problem-solving and community partnerships prepare students for future careers in an evolving STEM world.

Academic Excellence

Through our school's project-based EI classes, students can explore real-world problems and challenges to gain valuable knowledge and develop deeper Science competencies.

Each March, United Arts partners with WCPSS to showcase student creativity through Pieces of Gold, featuring nearly 1,000 performers in music, dance, and theater, and Gifts of Gold, a juried art exhibit highlighting outstanding student artwork from across the district.
